Clinical Efficacy on Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Combined with Primary Treatment of Pulmonary Tuberculosis with Jiawei qinjiao biejia Decoction

Abstract:Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of jiawei qinjiao biejia decoction in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with newly diagnosed smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods: 300 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with newly diagnosed smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with conventional hypoglycemic and anti-tuberculosis drugs. The treatment group was treated on the basis of the control group jiawei qinjiao biejia decoction and aerosol inhalation treatment, 6 months after treatment to evaluate the clinical efficacy. Results: The levels of FBG, 2hPBG, HbA1c and cough, sputum, wheezing and pulmonary rales in the two groups were lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), and the treatment group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The effective rate of wound healing, cure rate and cure rate were higher in the treatment group than in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of jiawei qinjiao biejia decoction in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with newly diagnosed smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis can better control blood sugar, promote sputum negative, lesion absorption and empty closure, and improve cough, sputum, wheezing, lung rales and other clinical symptoms, improve clinical efficacy.
