Abstract:Objective: To investigate the value of CT and MRI in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Methods: 90 cases of ovarian cancer patients in our hospital were studied. All patients were examined by CT and MRI before operation. The results of operation and pathology were compared and analyzed. The difference of CT and MRI in diagnosis of ovarian cancer was compared. Results: With reference to the postoperative pathological findings, the accuracy rates of MRI in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer and pathological stage were higher than CT (91.11% and 88.89% vs 80.00% and 67.78%) (P < 0.05). Follow-up showed that among 90 patients in the study, a total of 78 patients had recurrence and metastasis. The diagnostic rate and sensitivity of MRI in the diagnosis recurrence and metastasis were significantly higher than CT (P < 0.05). Image analysis showed that MRI had more advantages than CT in displaying lesions of ovarian cancer. Conclusion: Both of CT and MRI have advantages in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer, the accuracy rates of MRI in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer, recurrence and metastasis are higher than CT. Therefore, it is more valuable than CT.
