Abstract:Objective: To evaluate the curative efficacy and safety of small dose of low-molecular-weight heparin calcium for the treatment of children with sepsis. Methods: 92 cases of children with sepsis were randomly divided into control group(46 cases) and experiment group(46 cases). Patients in both groups were given oxygen, anti-infection, treatment of the original disease and other conventional treatment. According to the control group, patients in the experiment group were given low molecular weight heparin calcium at 10 IU/kg every 12 hours by subcutaneous injection. After treatment, coagulation function and clinical curative effect were compared. Results: The total clinical efficacy of the treatment group (95.65%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (69.57%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the PT, TT and APTT in 2 groups were slightly decreased, but not statistically different (P<0.05). The APTT, PT and TT in patients of the treatment group were significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The FIB levels were significantly increased with time and the values in experiment group were significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Small dose of low molecular weight heparin calcium can improve the clinical treatment efficacy, improve the coagulation function in children with sepsis.
