Abstract:Objective: To observe the clinical application of thyroid full cut method for the treatment of primary thyroid function hyperfunction and its influence on patient's heart and liver function. methods: 98 cases of primary hyperthyroidism in our hospital from July 2014 to August 2015 were randomly divided into control group and observation group (n = 49). Patients in the control group were treated with subtotal thyroidectomy, while the patients in the observation group were treated with total thyroidectomy. The clinical curative effect and impact on the patient's heart and liver function of patients in two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the transient hypothyroidism incidence of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05), and the recurrence rate of postoperative bleeding and operation time were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). Cardiac function and liver function indexes of patients in the two groups were no significant difference (P>0.05). Conclusion: Clinical application of total thyroidectomy in the treatment of primary hyperthyroidism has significant effect, can significantly improve the heart and liver function.
