Abstract：Objective: To investigate the effect of combined nerve block anesthesia on postoperative analgesia and immune function in elderly patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty. Methords: 112 elderly patients treated in our hospital from 2013.1 to 2018.1 were selected for the study of total hip replacement. The patients were coded according to admission time. The patients were divided into experimental group and control group. Each group had 56 patients. The experimental group received combined nerve block anesthesia, while the control group received single general anesthesia. After operation, the analgesic effect and immune function of the two groups of elderly patients were compared. Results: The postoperative analgesic effect and immune function of the elderly patients in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05). However, there was no statistical difference in the immune function between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). Conclusion: The effect of combined nerve block anesthesia on analgesia and immune function in elderly patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty is significantly better than that of single general anesthesia. Combined with nerve block anesthesia is more worthy of clinical recommendation.
