Abstract:Objective: To study the relationship between immunoglobulin G (IgG) and immunoglobulin M (IgM) of Chlamydia pneumoniae (Cpn) antibody and unstable angina pectoris (UAP). Methods: 56 patients with UAP admitted to our hospital from March 2017 to March 2018 were selected as the study group and 30 healthy volunteers as the control group. The levels of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), C-reactive protein (CRP), tumor necrosis factor-1 (TNF-1), Cpn antibody IgG and IgM were compared between the two groups. The levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), TNF-α, CRP and PAI-1 were compared between the IgG positive group and the negative group. Results: The levels of PAI-1, CRP and TNF-α in the study group were significantly increased in comparison of those in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the positive rate of Cpn antibody IgM between the two groups (P>0.05), but the positive rate of Cpn antibody IgG in the study group was significantly increased in comparison of the control group (P<0.05). The levels of TC, TG, LDL-C, TNF-α, CRP and PAI-1 in the positive group were significantly higher than those in the negative group (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference between the two groups of HDL-C levels (P>0.05). Conclusion: Cpn antibody IgG is closely related to the occurrence of UAP, and the mechanism may lie in the IgG of Cpn antibody can induce the release of inflammatory factors, and then induce the production of TNF-α and CRP, which may affect the lipid metabolism of plasma and cause UAP.
