Abstract:Objective: To observe the level of inflammatory factors in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and to analyze the correlation between the level of inflammatory cytokines and the lung function. Methods: Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) hospitalized in our hospital in May 2013 to Oct. 2015 were selected as objects. The levels of inflammatory cytokines in COPD patients with different phenotypes were observed, and the correlation between inflammatory cytokines and pulmonary function was analyzed. Results: There were significant differences in IL-17 levels among COPD patients with different phenotypes: frequent acute exacerbation phenotype, emphysema type, FEV1 rapid decline type, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The COPD level of the patients with acute exacerbation of IL-8 was higher than that of the patients with emphysema, and the patients with emphysema type were higher than those of FEV1 patients, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); There were significant differences in CRP levels among COPD patients with different phenotypes: frequent acute exacerbation phenotype, emphysema type, FEV1 rapid decline type, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The levels of inflammatory cytokines were significantly different among COPD patients with different phenotypes, and were closely related to lung function.
