Abstract：Objective: To explore the clinical effects of laparoscopic hysterectomy surgery on post-operative ovarian function. Methods: A total of 71 cases with uterine leiomyoma were chosen from November 2013 to September 2016, recceived either laparoscopic hysterectomy (observation group, n=34) or open hysterectomy (control group, n=37). The clinical effects, complication rate between two groups, and the reproductive hormone level were compared at 6 months after operation. Results: There were significant differences between observation group and control group in operative time, blood loss, postoperative exhaust, postoperative ambulation time and hospital stay (P<0.05). The incidence of complications was lower and postoperative life quality was better in observation group (P>0.05). Estradiol levels were lower than those before treatment in two groups, follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone levels were higher than those before treatment in two groups, The change range of the observation group was less than that of the control group. Conclusion: Laparoscopic hysterectomy has obvious clinical effect, Low complication rate and little influence on ovarian function, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
