Abstract：Objective: To study the effect of Huangqin decoction treatment in patients with gastric cancer and IL-8 on serum IL-6, MVD level. Methods: 108 patients with gastric cancer admitted in our hospital from May 2014 to April 2016 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 54 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were received simple DCF chemotherapy, and the observation group was treated with Scutellaria decoction based DCF chemotherapy. The curative effect, improve the quality of life and the incidence of bone marrow suppression of two groups patients were compared. The serum IL-6, IL-8 and MVD levels before and after treatment were compared. Results: The RR and DCR of the observation group were significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05), the observation group after treatment of the quality of life improvement rate (53.70%) was significantly higher than the control group (29.63%) (u=5.31,P=0.01); after treatment, the serum IL-6, IL-8, MVD levels of the observation group were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.01); the incidence of bone marrow suppression of the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (u=4.02,P=0.03). Conclusion: Scutellaria decoction can obviously improve the curative effect of gastric cancer, inhibit the inflammatory reaction, improve the quality of life, and can reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, it is worthy of clinical promotion
